Digital Library Spotlights
Welcome to The Sparrows' Nest, Nottingham
We will have only one more regular opening day this year: next Wed 28th November, 11am-2pm. During all of December our doors will remain shut before we will open again as normal from Wed 2nd January 2019 (11am-2pm).
Should you want to visit in the meantime, please feel free to get in touch and we will arrange for a visit by appointment. Furthermore, our Digital Library will of course remain open 24/7, so if you want to dive into some fine sources over the holidays, go for it (loads of additions to be announced next week)!
Please be aware that although emails and the phone will be checked during December, response times will be significantly slower as normal.
And here is another stash of documents that have been added to the Digital Library, mostly scanned at the request of artists developing the Nottingham Contemporary's new exhibition Still I Rise: Feminisms, Gender, Resistance. But as always, these are but a few of the countless documents in our collections covering these subjects, many publications have already been uploaded in the past and, much much more is still to be catalogued and scanned!
Wow, this has been a busy month. Visits, travels and lots and lots of scanning. The new additions to our Digital Library include a full set of Virus (the forerunner of the AF/ACF's Organise!), and loads of early issues of the Anarchist Black Cross' publication Black Flag (with many more to come).
