Digital Library Spotlights
Welcome to The Sparrows' Nest, Nottingham
As the leaves fall and the evenings grow darker, do not despair, we have yet again a bunch of fine documents for you!
This month, we have added yet another stash of documents, including another lot of Nottingham Voice issues from 1977 and 1978, some of the earliest Counter Information issues published during the 1984-5 Miners' Strike, a few more issues of Anarchy (including some of the 2nd series), and a bunch of pamphlets, including the brilliant A Night to Remember.
Browse, share and enjoy!
Please see below for a list of 84 new documents, comprising 1,147 pages and 1.2GB of lovely source materials, now added to the Digital Library, featuring loads of excellent local materials. So if you wanted to know/be reminded where chips where cheapest in the City Centre were sold in the mid-1970s, check Nottingham Voice #21, offering a fine table providing hard data regarding the pennies-spent-to-chips-munched-ratio.
