Please see below the list of documents added to our Digital Library in December. Once more many thanks to everyone who supported our endeavours this year, not least by making so many excellent sources available to us. Some of the materials listed below were digitised by request, please keep in mind that we are always very happy to be user led in our digitisation efforts, so please do not hesitate to get in touch!

This month we are travelling a bit further back than usual: Half a century ago, Solidarity published yet another volume in their pamphlet series spanning from the 1960s to the 1970s, this one about a strike at the GM plants in Flint, Michigan, back in the 1936-7.

Last month (27-29 Sep 2019) we held our very successful Nottingham Prints exhibition at the Nottingham Contemporary. It was an exhausting, but excellent weekend.

Here we are again! Apologies for the delay since we last added a stash of materials to the Digital Library. We have been super busy, but were finally able to spent a few blissful days processing documents.

Following another generous donation of awesome materials, we have now been able to close a lot of the gaps in our collection of the very interesting Forest Fields Peace Group Newsletter. Another highlight this time is a full set (always a great feeling to be able to type those words!) of If you don't..., a local magazine from the 1970s. These are interesting and very significant sources for all sorts of reasons, for instance as they provide information from the early days of Mushroom Bookshop. And finally for all those wanting more music Fanzines, there are quite a few additions to what we already have listed below (if you want to browse this kind of stuff, the easiest way is to search our Digital Library for MUSIC).

Dive in!

We are getting very excited about our forthcoming Nottingham Prints exhibition. Although it was (and still is!) lots of work, we are very much enjoying putting together loads of exciting materials for our three day exhibition at Nottingham Contemporary.

You can already explore hundreds of alternative and radical titles from the 1970s to the 2010s we have processed for you, all available for free in our Digital Library. The dedicated Spotlight on: ... feature has now (Sat 14th Sep) been updated with loads more titles.

Dive in and we hope to see you at the Nottingham Contemporary on Friday 27th, Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th September 2019 (Fri/Sat 10am-6pm, Sun 11am-5pm).
